iDTRONIC’s Hybrid Cards combine two to three different microchip technologies in one card body.

It is possible to combine a Contact Type IC with a Contactless (RFID) IC. Also possible are 2-3 Contactless ICs in one card body.

The Contact Type IC can be a simple Contact Memory or a sophisticated Microcontroller. The Contactless IC can be chosen out of the iDTRONIC product range of ICs for the 3 main RFID frequencies:

  • Low Frequency (LF) Cards with 125 kHz
  • High Frequency (HF) Cards with 13.56 MHz
  • Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Cards with 860-960 MHz

Thanks to these combination possibilities the user has the chance to combine different applications in only 1 card body.

All iDTRONIC Contactless Cards are available with
printing and many personalisation options.
