Microcontroller Cards

In general Microcontroller Cards comply with Contact Memory cards, but their embedded microchip contains not only memory but memory plus a microprocessor, EEPROM, for encoding and data storage, RAM and maybe a co-processor. A chip operating system (COS) manages data transfer, memory management and data processing within the chip.

Microcontroller Cards are standardized according to ISO 7816. They are typically used in sophisticated applications which require a high level of security and performance.

All iDTRONIC Contactless Cards are available with
printing and many personalisation options.
