Description
As a standard, contactless RFID chip cards are used for access control, optionally also in combination with barcode and/or magnetic stripe technology. With access cards from IDTRONIC, you can manage the access management to your buildings efficiently and contactless.
The data carrier is based on a transponder or chip, which is connected to an antenna. An electromagnetic field generates the energy required to read, store and transmit information through the antenna of the transponder.
The smart cards from iDTRONIC offer many advantages due to their unrequired physical connection to the reader. The communication is done by the electromagnetic field between the reader and the contactless card, which has a long lifetime and is insensitive to dirt and humidity.
Segmentation makes it possible to integrate different applications (e.g. access control and credit-based e-payment services) into a single card.
The use of the following chip technologies is recommended for access control applications:
- MIFARE Classic EV1 – 1k / 4k [HF | 13,56 MHz | 1024/4096 Byte]
- MIFARE DesFire EV1 / EV2 – 2K / 4K / 8K [HF | 13.56 MHz | 2048/4096/8192 Byte]
- Hitag 1 [LF | 125 kHz | 256 Byte]
- Hitag 2 [LF | 125 kHz | 32 Byte]
- EM4200 [LF | 125 kHz | 8 Byte, read-only]
If required, we can also provide the cards with magnetic stripes in the usual variants:
- LoCo (with 300 Oe)
- HiCo (with 2750 Oe)
- Super HiCo (with 4000 Oe)
The access cards can be printed with your desired layout using a high-quality offset printing process. Furthermore you have the possibility to equip the cards with barcodes, writing fields, serial numbers and/or UIDs. In addition, the card can also be punched for attaching to a lanyard or lanyards.
